Has anybody tried the Hack Attack jigs from Strike King.  Im not usually a big fan of SK jigs but these really look promising for the applications i like to use jigs for.  What are some of the plus's and minus's of this jig??? Thanks in advance guys.

The jig head looks like it will come through just about anything you want.  You won't be breaking that hook off.

That sounds great to me.  I hate hanging a jig when u are supposed to be fishing right on top of them.

I read the title and that was the first thing that popped into my head!! Nice features, but no rattle.

the skirts are very nice i have always liked the strike king skirts for the money... but once again no rattle and the brush guard is a bit to stiff for my liking...

Is there no way to attach an aftermarket rattle?

I use them quite a bit. Mostly in heavy cover. Adding a rattle would be a good idea, too.

I like 'em a lot.  I always remove the rattle from other jigs, so it saves me a step.  Good head, nice hook, and the skirts are great too. 

The fish in my avatar was caught on a black and blue hack attack jig with a junebug RT Lobster on it.

Saw them at Dick's today and seemed expensive for a pretty basic jig.  They were like $4.50 per jig.  I can get 2 of GMAN's widegap jigs for that price!  Pretty much the same jig.

They are pricey, but the hook is most likely a bit to blame for that.  Other than the stout hook, I can't see any reason for them to cost as much as they do.

I bought a few before I went to Guntersville the last time.  Fished one alongside a Buckeye Mop Jig.  The Mop Jig produced while the Hack Attack didn't.

I use them exclusively when flipping and casting and they are EXCELLENT. The only other jigs I use are Football and rattling Pro models when the times call for'em.

Sharp strong hook and Great hook up % too.
