  3. Thank you so much! Im sure all of this will help a ton this weekend! I have never fished this lake before but i assume it fishes a lot like Sinclair? Or at least that is my hope! Once again thanks for all your help! -Ryan Cast & Destroy
  4. I will be fishing lake oconee next weekend as a co-angler! Has anyone fished up there very recently? Or Just have any tips in general on the lake? Thanks -Ryan Cast And Destroy
  5. Buckeye jwill swim bait (trokar) in the craw color! it has a nice purple back that i like in jigs and the actual jig head comes through cover pretty well. I pair it up with a june bug zoom 6inch g-tail worm!
  6. I exclusively throw P-line 100% Pure Fluorocarbon and have been considering throwing the P-Line HALO fluorocarbon? What do yall think? 100% or HALO? Thanks -Ryan Cast & Destroy
  7. Thanks for all the input and yes i agree there is a lot more than just the lures, conditions, structure (no structure?) cloud cover all that obviously comes into play. Haha i reckon the question was a bit broad you could say.. but being relatively new** compared to some of you all, there is still a lot i have to learn. Fishing at the college level for the first time is pretty intense and i appreciate every bit of information yall give me! Catt those steps will def. help out a lot! In general i am able to figure out the pattern but sometimes by the time i do so i am out of time haha so anything to help me do so quicker is obviously a big help! Once again thank yall for the info! All is taken into consideration! Thanks -Ryan Cast and Destroy
  8. So the fall patterns are starting to kick in as well all know! But what is everyone throwing? If you had 5 rods (4 casting 1 spinning) what would you have tied on? Im curious to know what everybody likes to throw and am looking for new baits to add to the arsenal! Im all ears! Thanks -Ryan Cast and Destroy!
  9. I love the little john i it is my top choice! I picked up a few of the KVD HC silent cranks this past weekend!
  10. Yea the wind was terrible it wore us out most of the day. I think fishing in the stained water with the cold front just was not the right idea saying my keeper came from clear water at the end of the day... just wished i would have figured that out before the very end
  11. So i fished a tournament this weekend at lake sinclair as a member of the Georgia Southern Bass team. Pre-fishing was great the two days before but the night before the tournament a cold front moved in. The two days before i was catching most of my fish up the little river in more stained water. Tournament day this was not the case... most of my spots were completely useless.. saying that it was a rough and long day on the water with 30mph winds on the main lake... -.- So im curious to know what yall do when a cold front moves in like that! Where do yall look for fish? How do you determine what your game plan is for the day? Thanks! -Ryan Cast and Destroy
  12. For got to post the pic! Here it is! Paired it up with my PT energy burner ratio!
  13. Just got my first Boyd Duckett rod! its a seven foot heavy split grip casting rod! As far as i can telll it looks like a solid rod not to mention it just looks beautiful! The micro guides make the rod look so clean and smooth! I try it out this weekend for the first time at Lake Sinclair! Going to be flipping docks all day with this puppy! Its super light and feels light than my varitas! Anybody ever used these rods? Let me know what yall think! Thanks -Ryan Cast and Destroy
  14. Havent really thrown a lot of square bills being the big crank bait fan i am, so i am curious to know what kind of square bills yall like to throw and what colors work for you! I have a tournament this weekend at Lake Sinclair and i am planning on stocking up on a few! Anything and everything yall want to share im all ears! Thanks! Ryan Cast and Destroy
  15. Sorry for taking so long to get back to you last week was hell with all the homework and tests i had... but anyways thanks a lot for all the information! Im sure its going to help me out a ton this weekend! How ever i am curious to know just how far up the river you tend to start? and do you recommend starting in the back of creeks? I know we are putting in at the ramp right next to the bridge that is by the power plant. Once again thanks for all your help!! -Ryan cast and destroy
  16. Hey y'all I am a member of the Southern Bass Anglers (Georgia Southern Collegiate Bass Fishing Team) and will be fishing my second tournament as a member of the team on October 1st on Lake Sinclair. I have spent numerous hours trying to dig up information about the lake but cant seem to find to much solid information. I am curious to know if anyone fishes the lake regularly or has any experience on the lake! The weather has started to cool off a bit and hopefully has started to push the bass back up into creeks. I have fished the lake only one time and spent most of the weekend flipping docks... of course.. this was during july... Once again if yall have anything im all ears! Thanks Alot! -Ryan Cast and Destroy
  17. If you start a club at your college it will look great when you apply for jobs after college! Get involved its a ton of fun!
  18. My current diawa cranking reel has seen better days therefore i am looking for a decent cranking reel that will get the job done nothing to fancy! Im looking in the 60 - 80 price range! Any suggestions? Im all Ears! Thanks -Ryan Bass Brigade Cast and Destroy
  19. So i just got my quantum pt energy 7:0:1 baitcast reel! This is the fastest gear ratio i have ever had and i was wondering what do yall like use your burner reels for?? I have thought about top water and jerk baits? What else? Thanks Ryan
  20. Thanks yall! I think im going to pair it up with a Veritas! but im switching out my flipping rod for a Mojo Bass here in the next week! so getting the best of both worlds! once again thank you all!
  21. So i have ordered a brand new Quantum PT Energy 7:0:1 casting reel and I am trying to make a decision weather to pair it up with a Abu Garcia Veritas or a St. Croix Mojo Bass! As of right now im pretty much leaning towards the Varitas because they are so light, Fit awesome in my hand, and just look beautiful. But the mojo bass also fits awesome in my hand, seems to have good back bone, and looks bad *** as well... So what do yall think? What do you prefer? Thanks Alot Rip em Lips
  22. Rapala floating rainbow trout... its killer in the summer back in coves cant cast it to far but six pound test flouro is deadly
  23. 3/8 ounce booyah swim jig in (black and blue) and (brown and black) with a 4 inch swim senko (black)
  24. the skirts are very nice i have always liked the strike king skirts for the money... but once again no rattle and the brush guard is a bit to stiff for my liking...
