Chantal Heading Our Way

Hopefully Chantal will be nothing more than a tropical storm and not move up the east coast next week.

Our Florida, Georgia and Carolinas buddies need to keep an eye on this one.

Yeap should be some good fishing the days before and during.

Looking at the marine forecast, it stays where it is right now thru Saturday.  Staring Wed. the tide will be going out about sunrise, should be snook heaven later in the week.

Going to give it a shot tonight for Mr. Snook and hopefully they will cooperate!

Tide change around 6 am tomorrow, should be pretty good next 2 days.  Went offshore this morning, don't bother....caught 2 5# bonita, rather have been snook fishing.

Sam, thanks for the concern. When you hear guys talking about the bite that will occur, they are not overly concerned about this storm. Although the media will make you think the sky is falling. I myself are one of those guys. I am thinking about heading to fish tomorrow as well. A tropical depression is nothing to be overly concerned about. A little bit of wind and a lot of rain. The unfortunate thing is that the water levels are going to increase and the bass fishing is going to really slow down.
