I am going to buy a spinning reel (President probably) to use with a MOJO rig.

ie light carolina rig, 1/16oz weight 2/0 light wire hook. To drag on top of bottom weeds.

I would also like to use it skipping under docks.

Would a MH rod be too heavy for the MJ rig. I think it will do for the skipping.

Oh I can, and do, skip with a bait caster but it does backlash.

Don't think I can effectively fish the mojo with the bait caster but I do hate spinning reels, not gonna get 2 of them.

    This is what I use.  The 6'2" rod is perfect for skipping under docks and for other finesse techniques like split shotting or the mojo rig.
