Tiny Torpedo Question?

What size of line do you use with the tiny torpedo? I was using 6 pound test today with it since cover was sparse, and when I would jerk the bait it will get pulled under the surface too much. If I use say 8 - 10 pound test will it not dive completely under the surface as bad? Nothing wrong with it going under the surface a little, but to go several inches under the surface and then back up isn't good.

The Tiny Torpedo tends to sit low in the water, it is not your line. 6lb. is great fun especially around cover. A lot of times the Torpedo will dive that far under the surface, and it does not hurt it's fish catching ability at all.

I fish the Tiny Torpedo slower with sweeps of the rod or slow reeling even dead drifting in current seams. I throw a pop-r or spook for faster moving baits.

Okay I was just wondering, thank you. I didn't catch any bass on it yesterday but had lots of gills hitting it. Wasn't ideal topwater conditions anyway.
