Anyone ever use one of these?

Featured Replies

Its called a Berkley Jointed Blade Dancer. I know Ive heard the Blade Dancer was a dud,but this is Berkleys attempt at a Chatterbait type lure. Anyone ever used it? Ive got one and before I waste a day of chucking and winding with no results,id like to hear if anyone else had any input.

Never seen one, but it looks like a modified chatterbait to me.  Don't see why it wouldn't work as good as a chatterbait.

I haven't used it but I looks delicious.

that looks crazy.  I wouldn't necessarily call the originals a dud.  I've had good success with them.  I find the action similar to a scrounger and it works well for fishing near the surface of pads and such.

I caught good fish with the blade dancer around standing timber by just letting it free fall down the trunk...so if that was a "dud" and this is better than that, then it should be an ace!

Just need to use it with the right presentation and, right place, and right time.

The smaller blade dancers are great on the river. Let them flutter in the current into cover and hold on!

Wasn't the original Blade Dance a one piece?

Heres the reason I said I heard the Blade dancer was a Dud:

And yes the original bladedancer was a 1 piece design. The one I posted about is a 2 piece, much like a Chatterbait or swimmin jig.
