Went out yesterday afternoon on the canoe and caught 15-20 bass all from 1-3 pound range. Lost one monster that broke my line, though the way it bit off that 15 pound leader I'm guessing it was a pike. Most successful bait was green rubber salamanders on a carolina rig in about 8-12 feet of water.

 

Berlin Pond was just opened to fishing last year after being closed for 60+ years so I know there are some huge fish hiding in there and I plan on going back to find them. Once I find the big ones, I will post pictures of them.

Good times man...way to catch bass!
