just moved to out here have a small lake behind the house but i havent seen anyone having great luck there any good lakes around here to fish

    Lake Wallenpaupak is in bassmasters top 100 in the US. Not far from you. The susquehanna river also in the top 100 is in your back yard.

    Lake Wallenpaupack is definitely the big one. It has been tough this year. In no way should that lake be in the top 100 on bassmasters list. They are just trying to be fair to all regions. Shohola Marsh Reservoir isn't far awake. Lackawanna State Park, Promised Land State Park, Prompton, White Oaks Pond, Belmont, Fairview Lake ... those are all within an hour drive. Fairview and Wallenpaupack are the only ones in that list that allow outboard motor, though.
