Alabama New / Ish Member

Featured Replies

I have actually been a member on this site for about 4 years, but i have not made an introduction and have been asked to by the moderator.  My Name is Jimmy, I live in Birmingham Alabama and fish at least once a week approximately 45 weeks out of the year, and  3 times on a really good week.  I fish on the Coosa River reservoirs the most,  but also fish some of the Tennessee river lakes as well, mostly Guntersville.   Additionally I am a member at a private 200 acre lake that is about 10 minutes from my house and due to the convenience of that location I fish there more than anywhere else.

I am absolutely addicted to throwing flukes.  I will also throw  soft swimbaits, Texas rigged lizards, carolina rigs, swim jigs, crankbaits and alabama rigs, but Flukes are my favorite, even when I need to put them down and throw something else, I have trouble stopping.  anyway, that about sums it up.

OK, Jimmy. Fess up. Bamasux or Awbunn?

About time you chimed in. We are looking forward to your posts and in 35 days, if not sooner, having you as an SEC guy to help defend the SEC football dynasty.

And let us know about your fishing in Bama Land. Post some pics,

Just remember, to catch more bass you need to wear purple and gold and yell "Geaux Tigers!" when you set the hook.

WAR d**n EAGLE!! I would love to post some pics, but all of my pictures seem to be too large of a file to upload to the site. I'm glad I'm better at fishing than technology.
