Looking for a video can to take vids while I'm fishing... I don't want to get a go-pro I'd rather buy more tackle with the money I'll save.. any buddy have one?

That's a good topic I am interested in finding a cheaper camera similar to the go pro.

I use a FujiFilm XP... runs about 150 depending where you buy it from. Takes a good photo and a fine video. Part I like most about it is that it's water proof, shock proof, dust, and freeze proof. You can make a hat mount with almost any camera as well.

I just got this one. http://shop.panasonic.com/shop/model/HX-WA03H It should be here tomorrow.

I used to have something very similar to this from Sanyo, untill I dropped it in the water a couple of months ago. This one is waterproof, freezproof and dustproof as well.

I like this style because I can flip the monitor to see before I take picture. I don't have to second guess if all of my fish are in the picture with me or not. Plus I use for family use.

Edit: After reading the topic again, I guess OP was interested in go-pro style but cheaper...so never mind.
