no, it is not the color but the size. I think it is something liek 4.5 inches long.

LOL that makes it even more perplexing, because the bait is proportional, so you can't tell from the picture that its bigger at all. He probably should have added something like that in the OP. :

I almost ordered them when I made yet another TW order last night. Ended up sticking with the normal size for now. From what I've read from Dozer, they're fantastic.

If you are familiar with flapping hogs then it should have been fairly obvious that it was a new hog!

For those of you who aren't aware of the flapping hogs power...this is a new larger 4.5" version.
