Thanks to everybody who answered this topic!!!

What'd you end up with? Iabass seems to know about the smaller shaky heads.... I've mentioned in a previous post I throw nothing smaller than 1/4oz, which is what the MH is rated for. Let us know how you like whatever you got.

I will be getting my rod in about 3 weeks I will try to talk about it to you guys, i am aiming for an nrx but a glx would be good too

I typically use a spinning rod for shakeyheads but here and there ill use a baitcaster. I have a 6'8 m x-fast cumara that works great. i was throwing 1/8 oz shakyheads and hooksets were great.

Alright then, searcing reviews and info on both rods, i quickly noticed that there is alot of people saying the nrx 852c isnt worth the extra buck, that the glx has better balance and stuff like that

Lets push this thread further...again :P

What are your opinions regarding those two rods (glx 852c JWR/ nrx 852c JWR)

Tell me wich and why

Good lord, man! Thats a substantial price jump right there! If you're willing to spend $400+ on a rod, just buy the glx!

If your willing to spend $400 on a rod look at the ST Croix legend extreme they have a 6'10 M x-fast tip that will be able to throw an 1/8th ounce  jig no problem not to mention the sensitivity on all St Croix rods are amazing. My Legend tournament is so sensitive that its like i can feel a bass look at my bait.

With your price range you really cant go wrong with any of the upper end rods.

Good Luck and Tight lines

Just saw that loomis got a nrx 842c mbr g rod.... Wich is better for shakey heads, this one or the nrx 852c jwr g casting rod? I need a fast answer I will be buying in 2-3 days

Thanks guys

mmm not sure about that sorry im too skeptic

Don't be you got guys on here saying they have his rods and are happy with them. A well made custom rod beats any production rod out there.
