Are You Having Success In The Wacky Nj & North East Weather?

Featured Replies

The weather this year in NJ is just plain goofy. My only real success has come with Buzzbaits. Nothing else has been consistent. This year I am fishing strickly from the banks of lakes. How are you dealing with the weather?

When you say "goofy" do you mean rain? Here in Maryland, we' ve been getting lots of rain this summer. I'd also say this summer has been mild compared to last year.

I haven't had to much luck this summer unless I'm fishing my home lake, and that's probably because I know the lake so well

The heavy rain, the excessive heat waves and then the cold weather in middle August. I have had 2 summer colds this year and I never get colds in the summer.

I"m a little more north than you, but the soft baits are getting hit hard.

My buddy that I'm teaching has hooked more fish than me in the past few weeks on wacky style.

I've been doing well on buzzbaits as well.
