Have a older 70 mk, don't want to repair it any more.Am looking to buy a new one, is a 80 easier to control then 70 and is it worth 200 more  for 10 pounds of thrust?

    I don't really know the answer to your question, but I will say I have a 70 MK Edge from 2011 and I hate it! I'll be buying a fortrex 80 once I scratch $1000 together.

     

    Just wanted to mention, don't get an edge... it's garbage.

    on windy days or stronger current more is always better, if you can wait and go to a 36v system the 101 would be even better.

    I had an older 71lb foot control.  I bought the 80lb Maxxum hand tiller and I love it.  Much more power and lasts all day.
