I purchased No Knot fas-snap from Cabelas, and so far i could not be less impressed. My first day out my craink came off while i was reeling in....Have you guys had this problem?

Never had a problem with snaps. Don't use or own any.

I like using snaps, and have never had a problem. You will still have to check your line and retie sometimes. But, it's nice to be able to change color or depth quickly.

I think they add to the action of the crank which is an add benefit.

Don't have any experience with what you have used, but if it comes to fishing, generally anything that is "no knot"  you will likely be disappointed.   :  Just my take on it.  Not trying to be a $marta$$.

dont use snaps, just tye a new knot whenever you need another lure, knots dont take that much time anyways.

only ones ive used are the norman speed clips. never had a problem with them.

I tried some real small snaps (don't know the brand).  The wire was thin enough they cut the line, in the knot.  I was using 8 lb test line.  Don't have a problem tying a knot directly on the lure.  Snaps are in the bottom of river.

as far as snaps go , i use norman speed clips in the magnum size for jointed swimbaits and i have never had problems with them . for crankbaits , i use BPS duo-lock style snaps and they work great and they cost $1.99 !!! i have used Berkely Cross-locks but those things end up breaking after 10-15 lure changes , the metal is way too brittle !! so if you want good snaps , try the Bass Pro Shops fast-lock bass snaps http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_7816_100010005_100000000_100010000_100-10-5

I was sceptical about snaps. My buddy threw a package of Mustad dual style snaps in my cart and TOLD me I had to try them. His statement was the single thin strand of wire on the snap allows a crankbait to reach it's full action. The split rings had two larger wires so they are in theory more restrictive. So far so good. The convenience of quick changes is just a bonus. I have not lost a bait yet.

I use snap swivels, mainly ball bearing snap swivels.  I have a hard enough time trying to tie line in the daylite but i fish at night all the time so tying line in the dark is out of the question.  I'm a diabetic and my eyes are going bad so using snap swivels keeps me fishing. 

Plus i think the ball bearing snap swivels give my cranks more side to side movement they act like a hinge.
