I Have A Leaky 12 Vhull Boat With Pics. Help

Featured Replies

I filled the boat with water to find a lot of leaks. I dont know whats the best way to fix it. I Also have a pretty bad crack, I have pictures of it. A friend told me to use marine tex to cover the leaks. There are like 5 leaking studs.

Whats the best way to fix all of these problems ASAP and resume fishing? I love bass fishing !!!

They have develops welding rods that can be used with a torch to weld aluminum.  I've give thought to seeing if that works.

If you have a mig welder then all the power to you, but if you don't like most people there is a product called Duraweld (or something close to it). You need a small propane torch and it works a lot like soldering.

Go have it welded & be done with it ;)

ive used the welding rods and torch and it worked good just take a bit of practice to get a good weld and some mapp gass...you can also use a bit of 5200 that has worked on all the rivets in my small jon boat
