How About A Meet Greet And Fish At Lox On Saturday, 14Th September

Featured Replies

It has been several years since we got together to fish. Would anybody be interested in a Loxahatchee get together on Saturday, September 14th? Fishing should be good and it would be cool to see everyone. Maybe a sunup to early afternoon thing. We could even throw a couple dollars in the kitty for big fish or something. Who would be interested?

Hey Shane, please help this NC boy.  Where exactly is the LOX in Fl?  When I look at the map I only see a channel around the swamp.  Is that what you are referring to?  Where does one put in?

Thanks,

Chris

That's sounds good..I'm in if it happens

Lox does have a canal that goes around the swamp/flats. The flats are inside the rim canal. Those flats can be extremely fishy. The launch I use is in the south east corner. It is at the end of Lox road. There are ramps on the north end and on I believe the east side(not sure because I have never been there)

I should be open that weekend... count me in.  I bought some new hard baits that I want to try out.

Lox road is the southern entrance west of Boca Raton.  Lee Road is the refuge HQ in Boynton.  There is a ramp there also.  Up at the north end you also have ramps near 20 mile bend.  Most of the open flats are at the south end.  The rest is mostly canal fishing.

I believe I can do that. Sounds fun.

I'm going to try and get out there.  I fished Lox all day Saturday and Sunday and my work list has piled up pretty good, so we'll see how it goes...

I can't guarantee anything with a newborn, a new start-up, and everything else going on, but I will try my best.  I will launch out of the North End and run down  if anyone is interested.

I was there but must have missed you guys at the ramp.  It was slow for me.  I caught good numbers... of tiny fish.

Sorry I couldn't make it. too many things to do over the weekend and had a prior tournament comittment on Sunday. Free beer for big fish? Maybe I should rethink my priorities.
