i just got into bass fishing about a month ago and my great gandfather found out so he gave me all of his old tackle. most were basic lures i have seen but i found this thing. i was just wondering if anyone could tell me what it is.

Maybe a top water bait?? Who knows but it sure looks like a cool collector bait!

It's a P&K (Pachner and Koller) Spinning Minnie, made in the 1940s. P&K was a partnership out of Chicago that started in the early 1930's. I wish I could tell you that your lure is worth something, but it is in very rough and used condition. Still a good find though. If lures could talk, I bet it would have a few interesting stories to tell.
