hey im not sure if this has been a topic but has anyone tried the flick jighead nad if u have are u suppose to fish it wacky style cause i have fished that way im just not sure if im doing it right

The flick shake, flea flicker, etc etc is just another method of wacky rigging.  It's normally associated with fishing a little deeper.  Weightless wacky rigs fall fairly slowly, this just helps you get down to the depth you want a little quicker.  It's one of my favorite ways to fish.  There are people on the forums though that will tell you to just use a weightless wacky rig and let it fall.  It really depends on the situation you're using it in.  Another option if you need a very light weight, is to take your hook and crimp on a small split shot, or clam weight to the shank.

There must be no fish where your fishing, a 4" Senko rigged wacky on a flick it head will catch TONS of fish. I am not beeing a wise guy either............you must be fishing in a totaly fishless area, or fishing the thing way too fast or something. when I have a guy in my boat that has never caught fish, been fishing, or even what a bass is I give him that rig w/either a small senko, or finesse worm and they put fish in the boat.

If your using a senko, I just cast it out, let it sink on slack line. DON"T move it for a few seconds after it hits the bottom, then lift the bait of the bottom shake it a time ot two, then let it sit again for a few seconds. No bite, reel it in and cast it some where else. With a straight tailed finesse or trick style worm I do the same, but I usually give a shake or 2 on the the way down.

I guess my take on it is a little different.  The "flick" fishing is usually something that gets be downrelatively quickly to produce a reaction strike.  Shake it a couple times when you're down and let it be for a second or two.  No strike, I usually don't fish it back. 

A whacky, I cast, let it drop, pop it up, let it drop, all the way back to the boat.

Fishing a flick, I'm usually targeting specific spots of cover and structure, usually not the case when I'm fishing a whacky, it's more a general pattern for me.
