Question for us Norman fans

Featured Replies

I use almost every crank in the Norman line, except the DD14. I never have thrown this one because the 22 dives 11-17 ft. I guess my question is can you guys justify spending another $100 for the 14's when you can get your 22 in the same range if slow rolled?

I own probably 150 DD22's and maybe 10 DD14's. I just dont throw the 14's for some reason. If I'm fishing deeper than 10', I always grab a 22. Always.

The only way I would see using it is if you need a smaller profile crank.

Somebody likes deep cranking.

I've got one DD14 and about a dozen DD 22's.  I don't think I've ever thrown the DD14.

haha im well on my way to that amount.

you acknowledged that the DD22 doesnt go to 22 feet, the same goes for the DD14, I throw them when I want a big bodied bait for the 8 to 10 foot range.

I have more DD14's than DD22's. Most of my fishing is in Mississippi River oxbows and the Atchafalaya Basin in south Louisiana, so I don't have much water over 12'-13' to fish.

I usually reserve the DD22's for Toledo Bend.
