Broke My Spinning Rod

Featured Replies

Broke my spinning rod the other day, now I have to get another one without the wife knowing.  gonna hit up DSG and see if they have anything on sale, if that falls through I just might have to ****** up one of the omens I have been eyeballin.

Whats the rod you broke? Cant get a replacement?

Omens are very nice rods for the money!!

Depending on how you broke it, you may want to contact the manufacturer and see if they'll help you in any way.

its an old diawa combo I got from walmart last year, worked really well for me (caught my biggest bass of the year on it (5.5lbs.)) the only thing I didn't like about it is that it was a two piece rod and it broke right at the connection point. I've been wanting to replace it with a better rod, im keeping the reel that was on it because it is a really good reel for coming from wally world. I guess this was just the fishing gods way of telling me to go get that new rod.

I broke down and went to DSG and bought a F&S Tech Spec Elite 7' MHF spinning rod, its really nice I already had the 7'3" MHXF casting rod and I like it a lot so I decided to grab a spinning setup and so far it works really well, plus it looks good with the blue blank and the micro guides
