Going Fishing Tomorrow...

Featured Replies

Hey guys so I was wondering if yall could give me some tips for my fishing trip tomorrow. Weather forecast is high of 62, 50% chance of rain, 15mph wind, and a cold front just came in yesterday. I havent fished this lake in a while, so Im not sure what the temp is, but I believe the hottest it got over the summer was low 80's. It will likely be muddy from yesterdays rain. Last report I could find was from Saturday, guy didnt include water temp but said he was catching them out on points and they had not yet moved into the shallows. Last week we saw temp in the 80's until monday when it the cold front came through.

Where would you start looking for the fish at? Also what would you suggest I throw considering the weather and all? Thanks guys

If your starting early a.m, i would start to throw a some form of a topwater lure. Just be ready to work the entire water column. What i have rigged at all times when i fish a new lake is. Spinnerbait, Fluke, Senko, Dropshot, and a nice big huddelston. Thats just me. I would look for boils, in and around coves, points etc... Dont be afraid to throw the  fluke in those boils. Just stay positive, and have fun..... TIght lines buddy!
