Okeechobee Guide Service

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

I am visiting my parents who live in Sarasota in Feb. Fishing Okeechobee has always been a dream of mine and this trip it will finally happen, I just want to make sure I pick the right guide service. Who would be your recommendation and why? Also, do they provide all of the equipment?

Also, if you have any other lake/service recommendations maybe closer to Sarasota with equal or better fishing, let me know!

You may want to try reaching out to Capt Shane. He is a member on here. He will be able to point you in the right direction.

I would call Capt. Steve Daniels. He is on Lake Okeechobee everyday. I know there are allot of fantastic guides on that lake. But fishing it just about everyday for 20 plus years is a no brainer in my book.

Yeah but he might have more fun with you Cap'n Shane!!

Cap'n Shane,

Can you shoot me a PM with some more details?
We're going to be in FL from Feb 4th - 9th, but I know there is a specific day that the family wants me to "get it over with" haha. I'll get to you to verify.

Thanks,

VC

Vinny your mail box is full.

How's the fishing around Christmas time?  Thinking of heading down there and let the family hit the amusement parks while I go fish.
