Just got one and havent used it yet. Its 1oz so my standard 6'6m topwater rod wont work. I am leaning toward a 7m cranking stick but was curious what other people throw it on. Its easy to pick a rod for the small sammys but what about the big one.

I throw Pointer 128 and Sammy 128 for bass on my standard topwater/slashbait rod, a 6-2 M/XF.  If I'm targeting northerns, then I step up to a 6-6 MH/F musky rod.
