Any Good Pumpkins This Year?

Featured Replies

Last year I felt the pumpkin I carved was sub-par.  This year I'm pretty proud of my creation.  I did the cannibal pumpkin on the right and my wife did the one one the left.  Anybody got any pumpkin pics they want to share this year?

I carve at least one every year.  This neighborhood sucks for Halloween though.  Went through all the trouble doing up an awesome pumpkin and we only got 2 trick-or-treaters, they weren't even in costumes, and I was still putting the finishing touches on my pumpkin so they didn't even get to see it.  I guess I mostly do it for myself for the fun of it.

Yeah its not as big in some places. Here its a big deal but not anymore bc there's a 7 pm curfew.. in the surrounding town..

I'm ashamed to say I didn't do any this year :( As far as trick or treaters, went thru 10lbs of candy in about an hour and half. All kinds of kiddies come to this neighborhood. I really like the cannibal pumpkin, good job.

Didn't carve one this year. :(

My SIL & BIL took my son trick or treating so me and my old lady could have a date night. :)

I'm bummed out about not carving our gnarly pumpkin though.

We only had older kids coming through most of the night. I give out pixie sticks, because I'm cheap and like to get kids hyped up on pure sugar. Once word gets around we get swamped with older kids. We went through three five pound bags of the dang things.

How did you pumpkin do in the contest bass ninja?

The cannibal pumpkin is awesome Joe.

We came in second. I will get more elaborate next year. Only had about 3 hrs to do this one

Didn't carve one this year.  With work and all the stuff at home, I didn't have a lot of time.
