A Bomb Buzzbait!!

Featured Replies

What do you think you guys would get if you combined two popular styles of baits; a buzzbait and a swimbait? The answer is one of Tylure Custom Baits Buzzbommer, or Buzzbommer Jr.

Typically when fishing a buzzbait, you only have one option. Chuck and wind, due to the sinking nature of the bait. With this bait, you can rip it, swim it, jerk it, walk it, the possibilities are enless due to its ENORMOUS wooden head.

While more expensive than your typical buzzbait, it will sure get heads turning your direction chuckin' this thing at your favorite topwater spot. These things are large, and even the Jr. can be intimidating at first, but with anything else, persistance pays off. The "favorite buzzbait" thread a while back had me thinking, and I am surprised I didn't say this was it. Then again, it isn't your typical buzzbait, either.

Cool! There's a lot of hardware on that. How's it catch? Any reports on it?

Do they make it in a 1/2 oz????

Ya know, I don't think they do. They figured you gotta be the only one in the world with a 1/2 buzzbait, why ruin such a good thing?

I'm going to take it out this weekend. I threw it two days ago in the height of the sun just to check it out. LOUD, SQUEAKY are two words I would describe this bait.

Another cool thing I've learned on this bait is that when you give it a steady retreive the eye looks down, and I can imagine that ticking off a bass or two.

Trust me, as soon as I nail one (hopefully a nice smallie this weeked), you guys will hear about it.

Twitch it, swim it, rip it, possibilities are endless. What I have found out, though, is to acheive optimum noice output you have to hold your rod tip pretty high.

Josh that bait is a bit on the ugly side, you know kind of hard on the eyes, LOL. ;)

If you can catch a Bass on that I am sure I could. :-/

Can't wait to here your report, In any case that is the most unique bait I have seen in some time.

That thing's Korny.

Make it stop looking at me. ;)

We see beauty and functionality differently - Believe me I could bang them on that thing -just by looking it and taking apart its attributes i would know how to use it and catch fish.

It is still ugly and scary.

Its so odd looking its cool.

It wouldn't be as weedless as a regular buzzbait with the treble hook hanging down, but its still cool.

Heres a topwater that looked diferent.
