Introduction And A Few November Fish

Featured Replies

I've been a member on here for a while, but I never decided to post until today. My name is Colby and my girlfriend and I fish almost daily. We are lucky enough to have a family owned fish factory a few miles from home, and I am lucky enough to have found a woman as addicted to fishing as I am. As you'll be able to tell from the photos, she is also a local photographer, so it only made sense for us to start documenting our fishing trips for others to see in beautiful high-definition.

First off, a picture of the beautiful Louisiana fishery we frequent.

A great spot to release some stress with the significant other after a stressful weekend for LSU fans and a long Monday.

She started off the autumn assault on our green friends this afternoon with this respectable fish. Out long enough for a quick picture and then back in to visit his friends and be caught again. (p.s. ain't she pretty, fish ain't bad either)

I followed her lead and pulled in this little guy. Thankfully for y'all, she was able to crop out my face to avoid scaring the viewers with my ugly mug.

2 casts later came the biggest fish of the day, but nowhere near the biggest fish these cow ponds hold.

Here's my girl catching back up on the scoreboard with a hefty sac-a-lait.

All in all, we both ended up with 4 a piece for the day. Didn't bother photographing the dinks, mainly because I couldn't pull her away from her rod and reel long enough for my photo shoot.

Thanks for taking a look, lots more to come.

Great story and pictures, welcome to BR

Now that's a solid introduction. I'm pretty new to BR as well here, though I've been getting information from here for quite some time. Great pictures. I love the look of that pond. I'm always looking for some good sized ponds to fish and here in Florida, we got a lot of them that not many people know about (with some great bass). I usually go by myself on my kayak so I rarely get pictures, but I catch 'em all the same. Good fishing to you.
