Water Temp -47 Degrees Fishing The River.

Featured Replies

Yesterday I went out with my buddy Mike- Using the new Little Eddie (3 inch mega bugs) and some strike back spinner baits. Caught about 30 bass yesterday in five hours. All of the pads are gone so they were relating to wood. The water was cold 46-48 degrees  and they weren't chasing to far. Was using the 3 inch bug on a 3/16 pro model shak-e2 EWG .. All ya felt was the tap and the weight. All they felt was a sore jaw. biggest was only about 3 lbs most were 2 lbrs but they are strong little suckers.

SWEET! ;)

Great advice, the water temps and conditions around here are about the same. I'll give the these a try.

I'm callin BS on this. Ain't no way a 3/16oz jighead is going to penetrate -47 degree water. water is some hard stuff at that temperature.
