Flw Central Indiana Pros

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

Getting cold here in central Indiana and as I drove by one of our local reservoirs today, I see the Red Gold wrapped truck (Todd Hollowell)  and the Fatheadz wrapped truck (Jacob Wheeler) and their empty trailers sitting with only maybe another 4 trucks / trailers.....I fish this reservoir a lot and these guys always seem to be out there. I guess this is what separates the hardcore fisherman from the weekend warriors. These guys do the FLW Tour and whenever they are back here in Indiana you can bet they will be on one of our local waters.....I have already winterized my boat for the year and I feel like a wimp after seeing these young guys out there doing their thing whether experimenting with new lures or whatever they are working on. I met both at the Indianapolis boat, sport & travel show this last year and these young guys are great. And of course those of you who follow the FLW Tour know that Wheeler has won the Forrest Wood Cup and recently finished second this year.  Hollowell has been working on his own fishing show that will be coming out soon. Great to see these young Indiana guys succeed.

I was driving home from work today and seen the fatheadz truck parked at the boat launch here in geist. I've seen the red gold truck here a few months ago but never knew who both of these guys were until today(Thanks for the info). I'm out on geist about every other weekend. Like you my boat is winterized and put away till spring and just counting down the days to get back out. They represent the state very well!
