I have a choice in two great rods in the morning.. need some input

 

I have a 7'3mh duckett I use for ALL bottom contact and adding a bottom contact rod 

I want to have one for t-rig and one for jigging.. not sure which the duckett should be.. and my choices

 

*** *** black in  7'3H or 7'6MH 

 

What should I get and then whichever you choose which should be the jig rod (1/4-3/4 ounce) (no deeper than 25ft) and the t-rig rod?

Never used Duckett but hear great things. I'd go with the 7'3 MH ***. I just bought 1 a few days ago for Jigs as well.

not my options only options for this are 7'3H and 7'6MH but a little secret.. I already have a 7'3mh ***.. AMAZING FROG ROD!

when in doubt go as long as possible.

 

that said I would lean the 7'6 heavy duckett

Personally I'd go with the ***. I don't like micro guides at all.

I like heavy for jigs.

I use a 7' mh Duckett for T Rigs, but it's also my most versatile rod. I've used it for everything from spinnerbaits to weightless senkos. Love that rod. I also have an *** I use for open water frogs and honestly I would put them side by side in terms of build quality, with a slight edge in weight and sensitivity going to the Duckett (probably because of the guides). For Jigs I would go with the Heavy *** so you can pitch that thing into the nasty stuff. The larger guides won't get clogged with grass and what not like the micros will on the Duckett. For T Rigs i'd go with the Duckett in either 7' or 7'3 mh. Either way, both the Omens and the Duckett rods have really good tips and backbone. I think you'll enjoy whatever rods you end up going with!

What reels will you be mounting on the rods?

I'd go heavy. Whichever length served you better, go with that.
