Welcome to the forum :)! I know you may not have realized it, but you happened to stumble onto a topic that's a pet peeve for many members who've been on here awhile (I'm still new myself). "Spot-stealing." I understand quite a few fishermen peruse this site hoping to find good spots and that some members have gone to their favorites after mentioning them here and found them......stolen! Never had this happen myself, but then I'm in Maine and lots of us have our cars up on blocks :eyebrows:  Might be good if you were to tell a little about yourself first!

I wish I could help you, my area hasn't been producing as it has in years past, I'm not far from Lake Worth.  If it's a public spot I always share, not so if it's private as I don't want to run the risk of being asked to leave for something another person has done.

I hadn't been on my saltwater forum in a while, this time of the year a few of the members fish freshwater until the saltwater bite picks up again.  I've seen photos some beautiful bass and peacocks caught recently, the degree of smugness and "In your face" I thought was way over the top.

I also live in Wellington, maybe we could fish sometime I have some spots that you could try. send me an email at jonahsegovia@yahoo.com

I have fished Lake osbourn in my boat and from the shore and caught nice bass both ways.  The park allows lots of bank fishing areas.  Before the big freeze several years ago Osbourn was loaded with peacock.  They are starting to come back in good numbers.  To the south you can go to lake Ida with a large park with good bank fishing.  These two lakes are connected by 20 miles of canals that also hold quality fish.  Your possibilities are endless.  Get on google earth and check out all the lakes in your area.  Good bank fishing all over the place.  Take some senko type baits and flukes weightless and fish slow.  You will catch fish in south florida.
