Megastrike and the new MegaTubes catch them.. Pics also-

Featured Replies

Well I cant feel my fingers-toes and one other body part along with shrinkage- I just returned home from the Hudson River-bass fishing-NO DOZER this time. 30MPH winds 44 degree water and in the 20's 30's and 40's during the day. Caught fish by absolutly dead sticking baits on the bottom -not moving them for 20 seconds in 20-25 ft of water. The only movement I gave the bait I think was when I was shivering. Loaded them with Mega and just let them sit. Im telling ya I think the MegaStrike was the key . I did also catch them verticle jigging a blade bait. I did that to get the circulation going. Caught some nice smallies and a 5 lb walleye/Only the second one in my life. Pics in the morning

were you dead sticking it on deep structure? and i did read about you fishing in 20 ft or so just wondering what was in that 20 ft to make you fish there i guess.

Yes 18-22ft  rocky bottom with the megaTube on a 1/4 oz Shake-@ pro model head

thats strange, never thought to put a tube on a shakeyhead

I designed the new tube to work with the Screw Lock pro model shak-e 2 -

Here it is rigged and viewed from the top/Notice in the segment of the shell there is a line separating the back sections. The hook fits nicely into that recessed slot and keeps it exposed but weedless at the same time. The tail section is solid so the screw has something to grip to. THESE ARE  KOOL!!!! Im telling you these tubes are the nicest ones on the market

You know, usually when people design a tube and try to make it look like a craw with all that detail, it looks cheesy. This design on the other hand, is great. It's not over done and it still looks like a craw. Nice work!

will these be at tackle warehouse anytime soon?

They are at Tackle Warehouse and Bass Tackle Depot. I sent over 1000 bags of plastics (Their first order) and sold out in one week. The guys that are using them love them-Just gotta get it into their hands. The MegaBug is one of the best flippin baits I have ever seen.

Can't wait to try them. Tubes are something I really got into this year, but have yet to try them on a shaky head. The colors look sweet too.

ill have to place an order then in the near future.

One of the things I want to stress is I dont go crazy on colors. With the plastics I do about 8 to 10 colors. Thats it. Proven colors that I know will catch fish. I keep inventory down and turn it over.I will look at colors at the end of the year and might change one or two. Guys there are a million different colors out there. I keep them simple

i did not see the tubes on ***

Wow, those tubes are sweet looking, cant wait to try one out!!

That is a very nice looking tube setup. Is there more plastic at the head of the tube to help with the screw lock than a traditional tube?  If so, can a traditional tube head/hook work or will it not fit right?
