Kissimmee And Hatchineha Dec 27-28

Featured Replies

Spent the last 2 days on Kissimmee and Hatchineha.  Both mornings the lily fields on the NE side of Hatch were dynamite.  The wind was coming out of the E, so it just made sense to try.  Senko worked like magic, not on the fall, but the first tap tap tap.  Flukes were money working the top.  My buddy did decent working a frog slowly across the top.  Wind was an issue In the afternoons. First day headed to channel and creek mouths for calmer water.  Good bite, but random, nothing like the morning bite.  Second day hit the NE side of Kissimmee and worked the hydrilla and bulrush covers.  Slower bite, but pulled some pigs out of that spot with spinnerbaits.  The strike king midnight black blue tour grade with the single colorado blade lit it up for me.  It was my first time on these waters, and my buddies and I had a blast.  If I had to pick one over the other, definitely Hatchineha.
