Had a decent day Saturday afternoon with a ned and a pointer 78. It was extremely windy but the ultrex did a pretty good job fighting the wind for me. Went ahead and winterized on Sunday. C'mon spring!@Alan Reed How was it Sunday?Last Sunday, we caught em in the area just East of the Olio Road bridge and in the back of coves with a creek running in. Bait was looking smaller than usual for this time of year. Neds, pointer 78s, and 3 to 4 inch keitechs worked for us. Good luck!I've gotten out a few times in the past week and caught em on a swim jig reeled really slowly on a rocky bottom. Ned has worked as well. I agree with @The Bassman on those owner blockheads. I once saw one take out a large hawk that had just grabbed itself a rodent.Used to fish a small lake south of merom, near vincennes, but on the other side of the wabash as a kid. I think it's called lake lawrence. That little lake is where I got hooked on rippin lips!
