Native Sunglasses

Featured Replies

Hey guys well I am in desperate need of some new sunglasses.  I have tried costas, wiley x's and oakleys so I was in the market for something new.  Tried a pair of Natives today and the retailer said they are fairly new to our area (south alabama)  I really like these glasses i tried on the wazee model.   Wife is wanting to get me something for christmas so was looking at these.  Have any of you guys tried this brand and if so any positives or negatives before we ditch out a 100 bucks.  Thanks

This is weird. Never tried them or heard of them till yesterday. I was at a family gathering and my moms friend said she cleans the home of a guy who started a company called "Native" sunglasses. LOL, I just thought that was cool. Apparently he is a multi millionaire and sold the company...he is only like 37 I think she said.

I really liked them.  from their website they started out making sunglasses for moutain bikers and other extreme sports and wanted to get into fishing.  The vendor also told me that costa bought into the business when it was sold.  oh ed btw.  love your vids  :)

I like Cocoons. My pair is the tortoise shell frames with copper lenses. Very reasonably priced too. I think I payed $45. Check them out.

I worked at a ski/bike shop when they first came out.  They are fantastic glasses.  Their customer support is great and their optics are great.  I have a big head AND a wider nose and finding glasses that fit that sweet combo is hard.  Native's have models that can fit most faces.

I've got a pair that I've had for at least 5 years.  They are great!  Very comfortable and I haven't had any issues with them.  Mine has interchangable lenses that work great for changing conditions.

My wife got them for me.  But I don't wear them that often for fishing just because the model I have has smaller lenses so some glare gets around the edges from the water.

When my current pair of fishing glasses need replacing (which are Solarbats, and also great shades) I'll look at the Natives too. :)

Nothing but good things to say about my pair.  I absolutely love them.

I have the Gonzo/Asphalt model and I don't plan on changing to another brand anytime soon.
