How To Go About Eye Repair/replacement

Featured Replies

Ive got a Fenwick Eagle rod I picked up at a yard sale for a song ($9). Once I got it home I noticed that an eye on the rod had a broken support. Is this something thats repairable or replaceable?

Its a really nice rod and id like to salvage it if possible.

Any rod repair shop will do the job for very little money. About $10 - $15.

Guide repair - like was said it's just a couple of dollars, maybe 20 at the most.

...I cant think of a single place within 160 miles that specializes in that.To think of it between where I live and Bass Pro in Tempe theres only 4 bonafide tackle shops.Doubt if anyone does it.Does anyone know of anybody in Arizona that dors rod repair?

You can wrap a repair yourself.  Tutorials are available.

Ask at the tackle shops in your area. Surely there's someone around the area that will do the repair. Even out here in the very rural area where I live, there's a couple of shops within a 2 hr. drive.
