Seaguar Abrazx And Invisx

Featured Replies

I've been using the Seaguar Red Label for the past several years exclusively and haven't had many problems. The only problem is if you don't use it often it gets really bad memory. I've thought about using the Abrazx for my jigs and worms and using the Invisx for cranking. I've found mixed reviews online. If anyone has any info on how it worked for you please let me know.

Here is a thread started a few days ago regarding pretty much the same thing.  I am trying invizx for the first time this year.  I am planning on using 12lb and 17lb.

I run abrazx on my cranking and bottom contact set ups and invizX on my jerkbait and drop shot set ups. Mono for spinner/buzz/chatter baits and top water.

Run abrazx for bottom baits, invizx for moving baits..

Abrazx is a very nice line and could be used for both..

My review may be a little biased, but here are my $.02.

I've used 10lb Invisx, 20lb Abriazx, and 12lb Tatsu and since the Abriazx is double the line diameter it behaves differently. The Invisx at 10lbs has a lot of stretch compared to 12lb Tatsu; A LOT more. A lot of people agree that Invisx has a lot of stretch which is why I use it for cranking. It has line memory but after some use on the water it disappears and isn't annoying.

My 20lb Abriazx is very stiff, but has no stretch from what I can tell. It also has a lot of line memory even with KVD LL. I will probably go with 17lbs next time I spool up my jig rod. I haven't tried 20lb FC with other brands yet so I can't give you much here.

Tatsu... it's in a different category. This stuff rocks. If I were you, I would get a spool of this and just use backing to save yourself some money.
