  3. i have no problems throwing a DS on casting gear... I use 4lb line on my Pixy and DX701 or 702 without issues... Ive caught many Smallies and LM up to 6lbs on that setup... I just cant stand spinning gear.. Couple Vids we shot up north Droppin the shot on some smallies...
  4. use the lightest line you can get away with...12lb is about as high as i go with the 90s... you can use braid though as many guys have up on lake St clair...

  7. I use 2 setups for frogging... Dobyns Savvy 735C.....Daiwa pixy Type R...50lb Braid....This is my sparse cover close in can throw lighter frog setup... Dobyns CHamp 736c......Daiwa Zillion HLC, 65lb Braid....Long bomb, heavy cover setup..
  8. I wouldnt personally do it... I use either Braid or 25lb Flouro (seaguar Tatsu or Abrazx) As I dont want ANY stretch and Braid punching in Grass or Pads cuts through the crap..
  9. I have the 735 and your fine for throwing frogs... I use the savvy 735 or champ 735 for frogging and mainly the Champ 736 for more POWER

  16. Well another package from Japan Arrived yesterday with my second Limited Steez... This thing is flat nasty and light! The second jig reel that is going to get its use this year paired with another DX745 that I have... 6.3.1 wish it was at least 7.1.1, but that can be changed no problem as I might take it to the 8.1.1 like the other reel... 5.1Ozs on the scale
  17. I actually couldnt stand the 103....A bearing upgrade did help the consistency though with casting and pitching... I was a tad hesitant getting the New steez, but so far it seems MUCH better..
  18. this is not a 103 as it has the SV spool which is a much better spool and is the 105 flat spool... Bearings are just because...
