  1. Have 1 and have used it for 6 years or so only throwing football Jigs...3/4oz should be just fine with this rod as I use 1/2-3/4 all the time without issues... I use 15lb tatsu and can drill fish from a long distance with the rod being so long...It has a soft enough rod to launch baits and Ive used it to skip jigs under docks, but its a tad long for that..
  2. Invizx is great cranking line if you need some stretch as the line wont snap on hard hooksets or bass smashing the bait... Abrazx has been great for me the last couple years as I use 25lb for jigs and havent had issues with it breaking and I have pulled some pigs out with it in heavy cover.. Tatsu is just down right nasty strong and great line... 15lb is breaks well above 15 to 22 or so that Ive tested..
  3. Dobyns rods Daiwa JDM reels Seaguar line DUO Realis Hard baits and of course my Kustom painted ones...
  4. I cant reel RH to save my life
  5. Your fine with a savvy for those baits.. Honestly if you can't feel the bite on those tech there is a problem as fush usually hammer those baits especially if braid is being used.. I use a savvy micro for spinnerbaits and savvy 735 for frogging with no issues..
  6. This! I use 50/50 water simple green the flush with water and dry..
  7. I've got a 10+ year old daiwa Ize I'll sell you 650$...pretty good resale value.. LOL Prob because the talus has been hot as of late..
  8. Cals drag grease for sure
  9. Shimano can't do any worse then the G they released..
  10. I'll take bocas all day.. Their double ribbon bearing is smoother, faster and quieter.. They are hard to beat for the price.. They have GREAT customer service as well
  11. T3 spool is much better...
  12. 50/50 simple green and water works just fine.. acetone is pretty harsh, but works along with CRC brake fluid..
  13. go with the tatula...Ive had both and wasnt a fan of the lexa compared to the Tat.. The tat is a really solid reel for the money and I think it will be pushing the Lexa out of the market
  14. boca lightning oil for bearings or frame areas and I also use the Lucas for frame as its slightly thicker and has been working great for frame areas..
  15. thats because hes using quantum...LOL if he was using the big 3 he wouldnt have that issue.. The reels Ive worked on that level were beat up sure, but nothing was wrong with them, but they were shimanos and Daiwas..
  16. A lot of guys use what they get paid to use.. I work on a few ELITE guys and FLW guys reels as they wanted bearings and drags upgraded, but these guys were buying their reels and or got a discount on them, not sponsored by the company..
  17. yea your good...I use a pixy in the thick stuff all the time and its SUPPOSED to be a finesse reel
  18. I've had flouro on my reels all season as I spray and cover my reels when not being used.. UV and heat break down flouro I have my line stored in a dark cool area to last longer..
  19. Run abrazx for bottom baits, invizx for moving baits.. Abrazx is a very nice line and could be used for both..
  20. Yup Used Lefty... For me I could care less if its NIB as I use my reels..
  21. I can buy a LEFTY HLC for 295$ shipped right now.. 500$ is a bit steep even for a NIB..
  22. Ive done the same thing in the garage on both sides..I also have a wall mounted shelf for all my over flow boxes..
  23. good flouro for the price is Abrazx.. stuff is tough as nails as I use it on my jig setups all year without issues.. Now I WOULDNT use it Topwater, but thats just me..
  24. 4 in the handle 2/3 spool bearings 1/2 in the worm gear drive shaft ARB bearing roller bearing above the ARB
