What do you guys prefer? I've used Trilene 100% FC a few times and love the way it handles, just wondering if seaguar makes a better line for the money! Thanks!

Trilene manages slightly better than AbrazX in similar diameters.  InvisX handles better than both, though has a bit more stretch.  I used Trilene for cranking, but I use Tatsu now.  I like AbrasX in 17# for spinnerbaits and small soft swimbaits.  InvisX and Tatsu 6# on drop shot and light line finesse.

Is Tatsu worth the extra $$$ ?

Abrazx is more abrasion resistant, but like previously mentioned doesn't seem to handle as well.  Abrazx and Invizx have a thinner diameter per lb test though if you care a lot about that.  I usually just go with Seaguar.  It's hard to really say which is better. You just have to try them out.

For my brand of cranking, yes.  It is stretchy, but it's a measured stretch, then it locks down.  The amount of pressure between lockdown and breaking is greater than any line I've tried.  Knots hold well, it's very sensitive, and has a small diameter.

100% xl for management reasons. I can't cast very well with really hard line. I don't fish to many rocks or woody cover either.

Invizx is great cranking line if you need some stretch as the line wont snap on hard hooksets or bass smashing the bait...

Abrazx has been great for me the last couple years as I use 25lb for jigs and havent had issues with it breaking and I have pulled some pigs out with it in heavy cover..

Tatsu is just down right nasty strong and great line... 15lb is breaks well above 15 to 22 or so that Ive tested..

Tatsu is the finest line I have ever fished. "Value" is subjective.

Very much so.  Most of it is subjective, though.  I don't mind a little stretch, but I also don't have as many manageability issues as most either, so I suppose I'm a little less picky.

Alright, I'll take your word for it and stick to SpiderWire. 

John's creative graphics aside; if you line up nylon mono, fluorocarbon mono and PE fishing lines along a continuum you'll find far less difference between brands of like composition lines than differences between lines of different composition.

How does Red Label compare to abrazx? I know it's a "budget" fluro but being a high school student the cheaper the better
