Question For You Daiwa Guys

Featured Replies

Last night I was putting a Daiwa Advantage 153H7 back together that I had let a buddy borrow(it looked awful, my mistake). When I got to the drag system I noticed on the schematics that the bearing washer was not in the same order that I took it off in. It did not get moved or anything like that but It was not sitting on the bearing as shown, it was under the drag spring washers on top of the clicking mechanism. I put it back together as I had taken it apart and it did not apear to change anything such as feel, drag or clicking. I was just wondering if anyone had ever encountered this or if it will cause any problems.

That washer goes on top of the spring washers for the drag star to push on. It's not life or death but not "Right" the way you have it. Since the stack has all parts present it will work.
