Tappan And Or Seneca Lake

Featured Replies

I have been having so much trouble it seems in the last year or two figuring out these lakes. It just seems like a can't put a pattern together any input on this topic?

Seneca is tricky sometimes. I like jerkbaits and beavers year round

When the lilly pads come up the frog bite is usually good.

With the water being gin clear stealth is key, down size everything.

i like small single colorado blade spinner baits and small swimbaits in the weeds during the summer as well as the previouslt mentioned jerkbaits and beavers

I usually have a smallie beaver, pointer 78, 1/4oz single colorado spinner bait and a RI skinny dipper tied on in seneca. A small hard swimbait works well too

i always wondered about the frog bite at seneca, i never had much luck on a frog until last year down saint marys. Do you prefer hollow body frogs or like the top water buzzers (rage tails or zoom horny toad).  im going to have to try these tips i thank you for these

Late to the party, but I had good luck in the pads on Tappan with an old trusty hula popper last year. It was frog colored, so I am assuming frogs would work well too.
