I was on the phone and rolled up on the back half of some Godzilla like creature. I probably jumped about 53 inches straight up into the air.

The last couple of days a large python 18+ feet was shot and killed on a levee. At that size they are indestructible and apex predator. Glad they shot her.

I sometimes venture into the water and wade fish. I almost always see moccasins but try to keep in the open and shallow as much as possible. Them little boogers keep about 25-50 feet away normally but sometimes they just need to know your there and they will go the opposite way. A little stomping and movement helps. Never met one that tried to chase me yet.

I got this fear of snakes real bad..........Went out to a place yesterday in hopes of catching peacocks, lots of rocks there.  Reptiles like to warm up on a cool day from the heat of rocks, I saw 4 or 5 iguanas and water moc basking, no more no way am I going to do that again.  I'm sticking to my hi banked canals, much safer up there.

Im like a little girl when it comes to snakes, ruins the whole area for me.
