Hi has anyone had issues with these, I bought a refurb micro(old style ) from Aqua-Vu ,Plugged it in the charger is reading green but when I turn it on the screen just flashes for a second ???   .I would have thought that if they were going to sell a refurbished unit that someone would have tested it first.... 

I had considered one of those and I called the company to get some operating facts.

 

I asked particularly about the ability to see the display in bright sunlight and was told no you can't, but can add a screen protector like used with cell phones. I know for sure that won't make it easier to see.

I wouldn't anticipate using one at night.

It is not on my list for underwater cameras any more.

I have used a much larger version of under water camera with LCD display and had to use the included hood to even seen anything on the display. That is why I was skeptical about that little screen.
