Being from South Alabama and fishing G'ville, To me was a decision of locals or semi-locals....THAT could seal the deal.  Love the Gman and Chris Lane (which I met and chatted with after his win last year....before a shared Church service of all places), but the hyper locals...I just wasn't feeling it  Maybe my gut will pay off?

If so I still have Tharp, Walker, and Lee still going. I'm very surprised that kvd did not make or to day 3. I made a last minute sswitch from Martens to go there. Regretting that move now. I also switched off Carden last minute. Should have kept with my gut there too!

I seem like one of the only ones not surprised by KVD he hasnt had a good year at all... didnt make a top 12 all year on the elite series. just didnt have the momentum on his side.

Im surprised he hasn't got into them better on reactions baits at G'ville.....but the slump, not really....he has a lot of pressure on tour the past year or 2.  He is the best competitive bass angler to pick up a rod IMO....Major League Fishing, Alpena Texas!...the man is a machine!
