Gentlemen,

I need some help on 2 items.

I looking to purchase a new Curado 200E7 and was wondering if there were any changes between last year and this year. I found a pretty good deal on a new 2010 model but if there were any significant upgrades I will wait until the new ones arrive.

I am also looking for opinions on a new skipping rod. I mostly skip either frogs or ¼ to 3/8 oz jigs on a 7' heavy action casting rod Pfluger Trion and 65# Stren super braid. I like the back bone and power of the heavy action to get the fish out of the cover quickly. I do pretty good but have been looking at maybe going to a 6'6 to try and improve control or accuracy. I was also concerned with the stiff tip and wondering if subtle tip would help. I was think of a MBR784 GLX or NRX but I just can't justify the price and then not like it. Any helpful information on rod brand ideas and actions would be appreciated.
