Life Of Line

Featured Replies

Hey everyone,

I found some fishing line that I got I really, really like,,,,,,,,,yeah, lets just say a long time ago!  Like 8 years, and I love this line.  It is Yo-Zuri X-Tex finesse line.  Wondering if it is still good, probably not, but just curious.  It has been spooled up on the Yo-Zuri spool in the box indoors the whole time.

Thanks,

Wdy

I don't know anything about that particular line, but I've had lines such as Stren and Trilene XL last for many years under proper storage conditions.

I would think it'd be fine to use. If it's not chalky and or brittle I'd say go for it.
