What's the actual "package"?  The angler is a $ 40,000 package and the co-angler is a $25,000 package?  What's the motor size for co-anglers?  Can't get too much Horsepower for $ 25,000 in a fully rigged boat, can you? 

Nope you cant! You get a certificate for a boat up to $25k. Couple years back it was a $35k boat for co anglers and pros got paid cash.

You sell the certificate and take that money and add it to your win and buy the tournament boat used. You beat the snot out of it till you can win at the front then you take that payday and buy a top of the line make your eyelids peel back 250 and slap it on a nose bleeder like a bullet. Then when you get skunked cause you didnt get to the weigh in on time you can say... I passed takahiro omori and his yamaha now what about that ish!

Can you sell it back to the company? Or does it have to be a private buyer?

The fastest way to sell it is to consign it with the local dealer.  You give them a $25k cert, they offer it to a their potential buyer for $23k and they give you $21k and then they use the full $25k cert when they order the boat from the factory.  They sell privately too but it is harder because the buyer needs to have cash since the bank wont write the check without physical collateral.
