Anyone changing out the hooks on the Shad Rap? If so what brand/size,and on what size shad rap?

Short shank #6's.

 

Any name brand is good.

Im in the process of doing it now. Ive been using the KVD 1X2XSHORT.

 

1/4oz- gets size 6.

 

3/8oz- gets size 4 or 2.

 

1/2oz- gets size 2 or 1.

 

Some of the 3/8&1/2 hooks have been up sized, too a 2 or 1.

OOPS i miss read post. For the shad raps ive been using the same hook.

 

#7 rap- size 6.

 

#9rap- size 4 or 2.
