Cabela's will be constructing a new store on West Broad Street west of the Short Pump Towne Center within two years.

Can't wait!

We will have Green Top, BPS and Cabela's plus a number of smaller tackle shops in the greater Richmond, Virginia area.

What is the best about Cabela's is there aquarium. Best aquariums around!!!

I love cabelas bargin cave. They have the best deals and when they close out products.

The Cabelas fishing department by me gets worse every year. I refrain from buying there unless it's a deal or I can't make it to BPS.  It's still nice to go and look around but I rarely find things I want/need.  I hope your guys Cabelas is a little better.

hmmm cabelas store now... I will stick to only greentops :D

Glad to see some more jobs coming to the area but i doubt i will shop there myself.  I try to avoid short pump at all costs due to the traffic and hassle with the area...and i work out at innsbrook so no need to go there more than i have to :)

It will be nice though to have an additional option if i am looking for something specific and don't have time to wait for an order to come in the mail.

Did the Gander Mountain there close down? How far will the Cabelas be from the BPS?

Gander mountain closed down i think about a year or so ago and greentops took their store.....short pump is probably 20-25 minutes away depending on traffic.
